Anjali Mukhi Biography

Anjali Mukhi is a popular television actress, best known for playing Sudha in Saas Bina Sasural, aired on Sony TV during the period 2010-2012. Neha Marda's mother Saroj Singh in Doli Armaanon Ki is also her noted appearance. Currently she plays the role of Mrs. Madhavi Kuber Malhotra, Abeer's mother in Phir Bhi Na Maane...Badtameez Dil, aired on Star Plus since 2015. She mostly portrays character roles on small screen. She currently resides in Mumbai, associated with television shows.

Anjali Mukhi made her television debut with Meher in 2004, where she portrayed the role of Meher's sister-in-law. The show was aired on Doordarshan. Then she was seen in Kasamh Se on ZEE TV in 2006, where she portrayed the character role of Kasamh Se. It was followed by the roles of Naila Hussain in Khwaish and Leela Thakkar in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby. After struggling with less significant roles in the industry for 5 or 6 years, she got the major break through the daily soap - Saas Bina Sasural, aired on Sony TV during the period 2010-2012. She portrayed the character role of Sudha Lalit Sharma, which gained huge appreciation in a short period. Later she played Maithali in Chhanchhan on Sony TV.

She has later moved to mother’s roles and currently portrays the role of Abeer's mother in Phir Bhi Na Maane...Badtameez Dil, aired on Star Plus. The actress feels that as she is married, she has been offered matured roles in the recent shows. She was also seen in the roles of Saroj Singh in Doli Armaano Ki and Mrs. Roy in Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi. Both the shows went off air in 2015. She has also acted in I Love My India on Life OK.
