Anindita Paul Biography 
Anindita Paul is an Indian singer from Assam. Currently she is one of the leading female playback singers of Assamese cinema. She is also a Music Composer, Songwriter and producer. She released her first album Bilot Tire Birai Podumor Pahi Oye in year 2000. Her first solo album Tumar Prasangshat was released in 2010. Tumar Prasangshat was her second musical album which includes different genres of songs. Apart from Assamese movies and independent songs, she has also recorded songs in Hindi, Bengali and other languages. She sang under Zubeen Garg's music direction in the Hindi film Strings, and also Hindi-Assamese bilingual Ekhon Nedekha Nodir Xhipare.
Anindita Paul was born in Guwahati, Assam. Her parents are Amal Kanti Paul and Shyamali Paul. Her father worked in government sector in Food Corporation of India. Her mother is a housewife. Anindita got musical inspirations from her mother who was inclined towards music, and has been a performer during her academic years. Initially her musical ambitions were not approved by her father, who finally gave in. Anindita Paul later completed Visharad degree in Indian classical music (Vocal) from Lucknow before she pursued a career in the field of music.
She started singing on stage in her locality, and over the years she earned fame across Assam as a performer and singer. It also helped to earned opportunities from film industry to do playback. She also sang Bhajan and Modern songs at All India Radio radion station at Guwahati. Bilot Tire Birai Podumor Pahi Oye in 2000 was her first work in independent music, and as a solo artist, Tumar Prasangshat was her first solo album. She is associated with playback singing since 2002. Morom edhani morom, Shopunor pahe pahe meli dilu axare soi, Ayee Joon Jilmil Xondhiya, Chokhe Chokhe etc are her famous film songs.
