Amruta Fadnavis Biography 
Amruta Fadnavis is a singer and an activist. She is also a banker by profession, who serves as Vice President – Corporate Head (west India) with Axis bank. She is the wife of Devendra Fadnavis, noted politician and current chief minister of the state of Maharashtra. She is a trained classical singer, and has performed at various social events. She has done many jingles, released singles and also has done playback singing in Bollywood - ‘Sab Dhan Mati’ of Jai Gangajal, her debut film song. She is a social activist too, who is currently working for ‘Women Empowerment’ & ‘Development of Rural India’.
Amruta Devendra Fadnavis was born on 9 April 1979 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. She got married to the influential politician of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis in 2005, and the couple has one daughter, Divija. Both her parents are specialized doctors. Her father Dr. Sharad Ranade is an Ophthalmologist and her mother Dr. Charulata Ranade is a Gynaecologist. Her brother Gaurav Ranade is an Engineer. Amruta’s education was completed at Nagpur and Pune. She has been a sportswoman associated with tennis.
After completing her MBA in finance, and taxation course, she joined Axis bank as Executive – Cashier in 2003. Later she became branch manager in Nagpur. After her marriage with Devendra Fadnavis in 2005, she stood as a pillar of support for her husband, and campaigned for him in 2014 assembly elections of Maharashtra. She is a trained singer who has done many jingles, and also marked her debut singing in Bollywood in 2017. Her first music video "Phir Se" featuring Amitabh Bachchan was well received by music lovers. As a social activist, she has adopted two villages - ‘Fetri’ & ‘Kawdas’ for better development.
