Ammy Virk Biography 
Ammy Virk is the stage name of popular Punjabi singer, Amrinderpal Singh Virk. He also renders his voice for film songs as a playback singer and has worked in Bollywood. He is also a film actor best known for playing the role of Nikka in Nikka Zaildar (film series). His roles as Shivjit in Qismat and Haakam in Angrej (super hit Punjabi movies) were also well appreciated. Virk is regarded as one of the popular faces/singers of Punjabi cinema and music industry. Known for his independent music as well, his songs "Yaar Amli" and "Jatt Da Sahara" shot him to instant flame globally. He owns a production house - “Villagers Film Studios”.
Amrinderpal Singh Virk was born in Nabha, Punjab on May 11, 1992. He is married to Shreevardhini Parmar. His singing career was encouraged by his mother, who noted his talent during his younger days. His singing career started off with a single track which made him a popular artist. His singles like "Yaar Amli" and "Jatt Da Sahara" cemented his position in Punjabi independent music. "Jattizm" in 2013 was his first independent album. It won PTC’s "Best Album of The Year" award. “Qismat” is one of his most popular songs in the recent past.
He marked his career with Punjabi movie Angrej in 2015. The film was a super hit and he earned Best Debut Actor Award at PTC Punjabi Film Awards. It was followed by a series of hit films such as Bambukat, Ardaas, Nikka Zaildar, Laung Laachi and Qismat, which made him one of the most sought Punjabi actors of present times. He is known for his distinct style of wearing Patiala-Shahi turban.
