Ami Mishra Biography 
Ami Mishra is a lyricist, singer and music composer associated with Bollywood cinema. He is also associated with independent music. He marked his debut as a singer and composer with 2015 film, Hamari Adhuri Kahani. He composed the popular song, Hasi Ban Gaye for the film and sync-liped for Emran Hashmi as well. This highly touching song composed by Ami Mishra also had a female version sung by Shreya Ghoshal. In 2017, he composed the popular song, Lost Without You for the romantic film, Half Girlfriend. He sang this duet aside Anushka Shahaney. Ami received GiMA Award for Best Music Debut for his ever popular Hasi song in 2015.
Ami Mishra was born on 14 July 1987 into a middle-class family in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. Due to his father’s transferrable job, his childhood was spent in different cities. His father is a government employee while his mother is a housewife. He has one younger brother too. After the graduation, he shifted to Indore for his higher studies. However his passion to music developed during this period, and he also formed a part of a music band. His college band also started participating in reality shows and he became more interested to pursue a career in music.
He completed MBA from Indore Management School, and also had a brief stint as an MBA professional. However he got bored and took final decision to follow his heart and pursue a career in music. He started playing at restaurants and private parties. Though his parents were not at all happy with his decision, they finally approved his decision. He moved to Mumbai in 2014. He got a phone call from Vishesh Films, and his single - Hasi Ban Gayi got selected for their upcoming productions - Hamari Adhuri Kahani.
