Alyssa Mendonsa Biography 
Alyssa Mendonsa is an upcoming playback singer associated with Bollywood, best remembered for the songs - "Uff Teri Adaa" from the movie, Karthik Calling Karthik and “Khaabon Ke Parinday" of the movie, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, both composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio. Alyssa is the daughter of Bollywood composer Loy Mendonsa of the Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio. The dancing number - "Uff Teri Adaa" from the movie, Karthik Calling Karthik (2010) marked her Bollywood debut. "Oh Girl You are Mine" and "Papa Jag Jayega" for Houseful and "Adhoore" of Break Ke Baad are other memorable songs. She has also sung one song “Meen” for the highly acclaimed music score of Malayalam film – Amen, released in 2013.
Alyssa Mendonsa was born in Delhi in 1990. She took Bachelors of Art degree from Mumbai's St Xaviers' College. She recorded her first song - - "Uff Teri Adaa" from the movie, Karthik Calling Karthik at the age of 19 while doing her graduation. The song she sung with Shankar Mahadevan became indeed popular and she received a nomination at Star Dust Awards for New Musical Sensation – Female. The song was also nominated at BIG Star Most Entertaining Song for BIG Star Entertainment Awards. The song also peaked at #5 on the Asian Music Charts and found position in several musical charts. Ever since then, she has been singing with top professionals.
This budding star is reluctant to be known with her father’s identity. Ik Junoon (Paint It Red), Baby When You Talk To Me from Patiala House, "Oh Girl You are Mine" and "Papa Jag Jayega" for Houseful and "Adhoore" of Break Ke Baad are her other chartbuster hits. She has also sung for movies like Zokkomon, D-Day, One by Two and Dil Dhadakne Do.
