Aditi Sajwan is a popular television actress of Hindi entertainment industry. She is also a successful model and winner of Miss Silvassa, of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. She played the title role of Meera in the mythological series, Meera. Made her small screen debut with Zee Tv's Meri Doli Tere Angana in 2007, she later portrayed various roles for the television shows - Jai Shri Krishna, Raajkumar Aaryyan, Meera, Hamari Saas Leela, Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage, Baal Veer, Ek Hasina Thi, Singhasan Battisi, Chidiya Ghar, Kabhi Aishe Geet Gaya Karo and Fear Files. She currently portrays the role of Shammi in Kabhi Aishe Geet Gaya Karo, aired on Disney Channel.

Aditi Sajwan was born on February 12, 1991 in Dehradun, Uttaranchal. But her childhood was spent in different states due to the nature of her father’s job. She has two younger siblings – one brother and one sister. She is a trained Bharata Natyam and Kathak dancer, and is also interested in singing. She started her career in modelling and got selected as Miss Silvassa, before her television debut. After her success in the beauty pageant she moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in modelling and acting. She also completed BMM degree in Mumbai, while she was busy in acting.

Her roles on TV have always been closely connected with Lord Krishna. In fact role closely connected to Krishna has brought her success and fame. She started her career Meri Doli Tere Angana, in a supporting role of Arpita in 2007. She got noticed for the first time in Jai Shree Krishna and later in Meera, where she played the female protagonist. She was brought to the prime time show when TRP ratings fell down. She gained popularity as onscreen Meera. Though she was not keen in accepting the role at first, she took it after being persuaded by Moti Sagar.
