Adita Wahi is a successful model and popular Hindi television actress. She is also a star anchor. She was a finalist of Miss. India 98, beauty pageant. Wahi had her first tryst with fashion at the tender age of 14 where she worked as a summer intern with Weekenders. At the age of 19, she headed a team of 500 people for a leading Export House in Delhi. She walked on the ramp for designers like Ravi Bajaj, Rohit Bal, Ashish Soni and Rocky S amongst others. She also did several ad films, way back in the 1990s and 2000s. Saarrthi’, ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki’ and ‘Vaidehi’ are among her most popular TV shows.

Adita was born in New Delhi. She completed her school days from her hometown. Started her modelling at the age of 14 in the 1990s, she is fully active in the entertainment scene now. She took up a summer internship at Weekenders and it was her first handy experience in the field of modelling. She moved to New York to pursue a specialized program in merchandising at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and in those days she groomed her desire to work in movies and theater. She attended Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York as she was really serious about acting and returned to home country to pursue a career in acting.

She started her television career as an anchor for the popular dance competition show, Boogie Woogie in 2004, followed by the show, Daud. In 2005 she bagged her first soap role through Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. Since then she has appeared in more than a dozen of TV soaps. Among her roles, Sonali Swaika for Laut Aao Trisha and Shefali Goenka in Saarrthi are most popular. She also played a few brief roles in films.
