Addy Raj Biography

Addy Raj is an Indian television actor and model from Ajmer, Rajasthan. He is mostly associated with international shows. He is also a singer and a former exchange student in the Philippines. He is best known for appearing in Filipino reality music competition, I Love OPM in 2016, where he was one among the contestants. The show was aired on ABS-CBN. Later he got associated with GMA channel, and is best known for his appearance in the TV drama, Meant to Be where he plays a parallel lead role. He portrays the role of Jai Patel, an Indian suitor of Barbie Forteza in this very popular romantic comedy series.

He was born on August 30, 1995 in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India. He was raised in Delhi, the capital city, and later he moved to Philippines, where he earned fame as a television actor. His father is a forest officer in his mother country, while his mother is a housewife. He is the younger of two children. He was a professional Track and field athlete while at college, who dreamt to become the fastest runner of the country. But the destiny was something else. He landed into the field of entertainment industry, associated with modelling and acting. However his stint as an athlete helped him to became an exchange student at the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.

His professional career began in Philippines, and currently he shuttles between the two countries. After earning immense popularity through the reality show, I Love OPM, he also garnered attention as an actor through the TV series, Meant to Be. He has appeared as guest or contestant in many TV shows, and Sirkus, Dear Uge: Bongga Bonita, and Super Ma'am are his most recent appearances.
