Aashif Sheikh Biography 
Aashif Sheikh is an actor and producer best known for television roles. He excels in comic roles. He started his acting career with the iconic series on Doordarshan, Hum Log in 1984. He played the brief role of Prince Ajay Singh in this series. He played the male lead in 1991 Bollywood film, Yaara Dildara. Though the film went unnoticed the songs which marked the debut of its music director duo Jatin-Lalit are still loved by music lovers. “Bin Tere Sanam Mar Mitenge Hum” is the most popular song of the movie picturized on Aashif Sheikh and the heroine Ruchika Panday, which has been remixed several times, and remains one of the most popular remixes of all time.
He started his film career in the late 1980s doing supporting roles, and played lead hero in 1991 film, Yaara Dildara. Though he couldn’t gain much recognition through films, he later became successful through TV shows. But he has played prominent supporting roles in numerous Bollywood films in the 1990s and afterwards. He played the male lead in the comedy sitcom on SAB TV - Don't Worry Chachu (2011). He essayed the lead role of Chintan Desai (Chachu) in the series, while Sugandha Mishra played the female lead. Currently he plays the male of Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in the comedy series inspired from DD series, Sreeman Sreemati - Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai! He is quite popular with comedy sitcoms and has played lead role in comedy sitcoms like Yeh Chanda Kanoon Hai also.
He played supporting roles in popular shows, Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne, Hum Aapke Hain In Laws, Chidiya Ghar etc. He currently plays character roles for Bollywood movies. Some of his noted roles include - Journey Bombay to Goa: Laughter Unlimited, Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Yes Boss, Bandan, Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar, Nehle Pe Dehla, Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa, Jodi No.1, Deewane, Kunwara, Mehbooba, Benny and Babloo etc.
