Rohan Sippy is an Indian film producer and director, who works in Bollywood. He is better known as the son of Ramesh Sippy and grandson of G. P. Sippy, the producer-directors behind India’s all time blockbuster hit – Sholey (1975). Rohan has directed Bollywood movies like Kuch Naa Kaho (2003), Bluffmaster! (2005), Dum Maaro Dum (2011) and Nautanki Saala (2013) and known for his long-term association with Abhishek Bachchan. He has directed 3 movies with Abhishek in the lead role - Kuch Naa Kaho, Bluffmaster! and Dum Maaro Dum of which Bluffmaster was a box office hit and received positive reviews from critics. Priyanka Chopra played lead role in this movie. Abhishek and Rohan are childhood friends and he is to direct a 3D film with his buddy.

He was born in Mumbai as the son of Ramesh Sippy, the director of Indian legendary movie – Sholey. Rohan Sippy was married to Rohena Gera, a screenwriter. They divorced in 2003. He married Roopa in 2009 and a daughter was born to him in 2012. He entered film field assisting his father as a producer and assistant director. His first individual project as a film producer was Zamaana Deewana in 1995, which starred Shah Rukh Khan and Raveena Tandon in leading roles. However the movie flopped at box office despite having good music scores. Chandni Chowk to China in 2009 was another major failure in his career as a film producer.

As a film director, he started with Kuch Na Kaho in 2003. This romantic drama had Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Arbaaz Khan in lead roles. Despite having good music, his debut venture was a box office failure. But he tasted success with Bluff master in 2005. His latest release is Nautanki Saala! with Ayushmann Khurrana, Evelyn Sharma, Pooja Salvi, and Kunaal Roy Kapur in lead roles and was a critical and commercial success.
