Arbaaz Khan Biography

Arbaaz Khan is a Bollywood actor as well as a producer. He is the producer of Salman Khan’s Debangg series. Also he is the brother of Salman Khan and Sohail Khan. His father Salim Khan is a famous script writer of many blockbuster hits of Amitabh Bachchan like Sholay, Trishul, Zanjeer and Deewar. Yesterday actress Helen is his step mother and his wife is none other than beautiful Arora Khan who has done item numbers like Chayya chayya and Munni Badnaam Hui. As an actor he debut with Darrar. He has done a series of movies with his brother Salman Khan - Pyar kiya to darna kya, Garv: Pride and Honour, Hello, Debangg, Debangg 2, Meine pyar kyon kiya, Ready (special appearance) and Hello Brother. He worked with his brother Sohail Khan in the movie Jaane tu ya jaane na. As actor his other movies include Qayamat: City under threat, Soch, Shootout at Lakhandwala, Hulchul, Thodi life thodi magic, Kuch na kaho, Jai Veeru, Bhagam bhag, Dhol and Malaamal lottery. He was successful as a supporting actor in many movies. He has also worked in Karishma Kapoor’s television serial – Karishma The miracles of destiny.

Arbaaz debut Bollywood with Daraar in 1997 opposite Juhi Chawla. His role was well appreciated and it helped him to earn best villain Filmfare award too. In his next movie, he played the role of Kajol’s elder brother and the movie was ‘Pyar Kiya to darna kya’. Actually this movie helped Salman to come back to Bollywood after a few flops. His role as an ‘angry brother’ was well appreciated and slowly he began to do character roles in movies. He did the music videos of Pyar ke geet along with Mallika Arora Khan of Chayya Chayya fame in the year 1999. They fell in love with each other and very soon, they got married. Now also, she is busy in doing item songs in Bollywood.  

Though he is seen in serious roles in most of his films, he did comedy alone with his brother Sohail Khan in the blockbuster movie ‘Jaane tu ya jaane naa’. As a producer he has played a significant role in placing Salman Khan as the money making machine of Bollywood.
