Ayushmann Khurrana Biography

Ayushmann khurrana is one among those video jockeys and TV anchors who later found success in Bollywood as an actor. Through Vicky Donar, he debut on silver screen and he was appreciated for his work very much. This movie was a critical success as well as a box office hit. This movie gave him two awards in the film fare – best male debut and best playback singer for the song Pani Da Rang, composed by himself. No doubt, it’s rarest of rare awards in the history of Filmfare where a debut actor won best singer awards too. Before that, we have seen him as a successful anchor in Hritik Roshan’s Just Dance of Star plus. His second movie Nautangi Saala has been released and Yash Chopra banners have roped him for their next movie venture where he portrays the role of Mohit Chadda.

He started his career as a contestant for MTV roadies 2, where he was declared a winner. He has also done a few FTV Faltoo movies imitationg heroes and movies and he co-hosted Voice of Youngistann of MTV along with Bani J and Vineet Modi. He has anchored many shows including India’s got talent season 1 and 2,  Kurkure Dezi beats rock on MTV season 1 and 2, Stripped of MTV, Amul Music ka maha muquabla of Star plus, MTV grind and MTV roadies Season 8 Graveyard.  So, he is a familiar face of MTV fans and has been proved to be a successful anchor and VJ. He has showed his interest in T20, by presenting T20 extra innings along with Gaurav Kapur.  

Khurrana belongs to Chandigarh and his father, P.Khurrana is a well known astrologer. His brother Aparshakti is also successful as a radio jockey. Apart from an anchor and an actor, he has proved himself to be a good musician as well as singer. In his second movie Naukari saala as hero, he has composed and sung two songs - Saddhi Gali and Tu hi tu. Perhaps in distant future, we may witness a few more familiar roles of Khurana that he may play safely. He is married to his childhood friend, Tahira.
