Krishna Beura Biography 
Krishna Beura is an Oriya singer who sings in 22 languages including Bollywood songs. His style is similar to the legendary singer, Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and he loves to sing Sufi songs. He sang the top track of the film Namastey London aside Nusrat’s nephew, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and the chartbuster track was, Mein jaha rahoo composed by Himesh Reshammiya. Now he shares same space with Kailash Kher and Sukhwinder Singh, famous singers known for sufi style singing in Bollywood. As a successful Bollywood singer, his first big break was the male version of ‘Zindagi mein koi kabhi aaye na rabba’ of 2005 movie, Musafir. His first solo pop album titled - Ishq Gali Na Jaiyo was released in 2008.
He owns many hit songs in his credit like "Sach Hai Sach Hai Yeh" and Jannat Hai Yeh Zameen of Rakht, Mere Saath Chalte Chalte - Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Ali Ali of Deewar, Soniyo (From The Heart) of Raaz – The Mystery Continues, Jaane Ke Jaane Na - Jaan-E-Mann, “Maula Mere Le Le Meri” of Chak de India, Rabbi - Zindaggi Rocks, "Ishq Khudai" of Rudraksh, Title track of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and many more. ’Ishq Gali Na Jaiyo’ was his debut album followed by self-titled album, in collaboration with rock band Bandish. Among Indian singers he is known to hit High pitch notes with ease. Yet he is expert in low notes (mandra saptak) as well.
Krishna belongs to Kusupangi, Cuttack of Orissa. His father Indramani Beura was an employee of Indian Air Force. Due to his father’s transferrable job he spent his childhood and adulthood in different places. He graduated from Chandigarh. His first break was for the movie, Rudraksh when he was approached by its leading actor Sanjay Dutt. It was followed by the sufi number of Musafir, which gave him the big break to Bollywood. In 2011 he won Stardust awards for best playback singer for Maula Mere Le Li Meri Jaan - Chak De India.
