Sanjay Dutt Biography 
Sanjay Dutt is an Indian film actor, producer, politician and director. He was born on 29th July 1959 in Mumbai in Maharashtra. He is also called as Sanju Baba, Munna Bhai, Raghu Bhai and Baba.
His parents are well known actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis. He married actress Rich Sharma in the year 1987 and has a daughter Trishala born in 1989. Her wife was suffering from brain tumor and she died on 10th December 1996. After her death he married Rhea Pillai in 1998. However this marriage was short lived and they divorced in 2005. In 2008 he married Manyata and twins were born on 21st October 2010, a girl baby Iqra and a boy baby Shahraan.
He started to act in films as a child artist in 1971. His debut film was Reshma Aur Shera in which his father acted in the lead role. He made his debut as an adult artist in the year 1981 through the film Rocky. Since then he has acted in many films that include Dhamaal, Dus Kahaniyan, Mehbooba, Nehlle Pe Dehlla, Jodi No.1, Khal Nayak, Kshatriya, Gumrah, Aatish, Amaanat, Jeete Hain Shaan Se, Kabzaa, Mardon Wali Baat, Itihaas, Saajan, Vaastav: The Reality, Mission Kashmir, Munnabhai M. B. B. S., Kaante, Parineeta, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, etc.
He was arrested on 19th April 1993 as he had weapons and was suspected to have connections with the terrorists. He spent 16 months in jail and was released in bail. He was punished for six years on 31st July 2007 and was sent to Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai. He obtained bail on 27th November 2007.
He serves as the Goodwill Ambassador of the Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Micro algae Spirulina Against Malnutrition. He hosted the Fifth season of the television show Bigg Boss.
He has won Filmfare Best Actor award twice and was nominated for the Filmfare Awards six times. He has also won Star Screen Awards, International Indian Film Academy Awards, Global Indian Film Awards, Stardust Awards, Zee Cine Awards, etc.
