Karishma Tanna is an Indian television and theatre actress most successful with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi where she played the role of Indu Virani. She frequently appears in television ads also. She debut silver screen with Dosti: Friends Forever and has also appeared in the recent release – Indra Kumar’s Grand Masti. She has also made her south Indian debut with Kannada movie, I Am Sorry Mathe Banni Preethsona where she played the role of Chetana. Her popular serials include - Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahi To Milenge, Shararat, Kkusum, Koi dil mein hai, Ek Ladki Anjaani Si, Adalat, Bal veer, Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam, Jaane Pehchaane Se... Ye Ajnabi, Manshaa, Virasat, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand and Kkusum.

 
Karishma was born on December 21, 1983 in Mumbai. She made television entry with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Before that she appeared in television ads. Now also, she frequently appears in television ads of which Nirma, Lifebuoy, and Stayfree are most popular ones. Now she participates in many fashion shows to get good offers from movies. She played the sister of Bobby Deol in Bollywood movie Dosti: Friends Forever released in 2005. Recent update is that after Minissha Lamba opted out of Devang Dholakia's Tina And Lolo, Karishma Tanna is to pair with Sunny Leone for the upcoming movie – Tina and Lolo. Shooting has already begun and the movie is slated to get released next year. She is also doing fitness regimes as a part of her character in this movie.

 
Karishma has also appeared as contestant in many reality shows. Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout, Comedy Circus Maha-Sangram and Comedy Circus season 1 are a few such. In 2012, everyone raised their eye brows when Karishma shot topless for the cover page of FHM magazine’s September issue. She is casted opposite Vivek Oberoi in the upcoming movie, Sher.
