Ayaz Ahmed Biography

Ayaz Ahmed is a popular television actor who burst into the scene of entertainment with Roadies season 5 in 2007. Later he became a part of many successful television series like Kitani Mohabbat Hai and Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna. He has also participated in DJ’s A Creative Unit’s show on SAB TV, ‘I Luv My India’, a unique concept dealing with jingoism in a comical way. This popular actor wants to tests himself with different genres of acting, from comic roles to serious ones. He played the role of Raghav in MTV Webbed 2 in 2014. Ayaz also appeared in psychological thriller short film - Moods of Crime.

He was born and brought up in Howrah, West Bengal. His father is a lawyer and hence after schooling he stepped into his father’s shoes by joining Law College for Calcutta University. MTV Roadies in 2007 marked his small screen debut. Though he was not able to win the title, he decided to stay in the entertainment industry with this popular adventurous show. It was followed by UTV Bindass show Meri Toh Lag Gayi... Naukri and Kitani Mohabbat Hai, where he appeared in a small role of Abhay. Shaan, I Luv My India, Gumrah, Crime Patrol Dastak, Do Dil Ek Jaan, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Ishq Kills and MTV Webbed 2 are other popular television roles.

He appeared aside Nitin Sahrawat in Ishq kills (2014) on Star Plus, a series of real life romantic stories directed by Vikram Bhatt. This show is very successful. He made his film debut with a short film – Moods of crime where he potrayed the role of a physiologic student.
