Arjun Sablok Biography

Arjun Sablok is a Bollywood film director and screenwriter, associated with Yash Raj Films banner. He has directed only two movies in his film career - Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, starring Hrithik Roshan, Esha Deol and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles and Neal 'n' Nikki, which marked the debut of Kajol’s young sister, Tanisha Mukherjee. The movie was produced under Yash Raj Films’ banner and the lead role was played by Uday Chopra, son of Yash Chopra. This movie proved to be a disaster at box office. His debut movie, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum despite having Hrithik Roshan in the lead role during his smash entry to Bollywood, it couldn’t recover the expenses of the movie. He has also directed one television movie, Humko Ishq Ne Mara. He is the scriptwriter of both his directorial ventures.

Arjun Sablok has also acted in a few movies. He usually appears in friendly appearances in movies. He played the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s friend, Roby in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. He played the role of Jaspreet in Pyaar Impossible! He has also made friendly appearance in Tashan, Dhoom, Dhoom 2, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum and a few more movies.

He has also worked as a choreographer of his debut movie, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum. The movie released in 2002 was a beautiful romantic story of two unseen lovers who communicated using letters, send from post box number. The movie was noted for the chemistry between the leading actors, Hrithik Roshan and Esha Deol and the supporting role played by Saif Ali Khan. Yet the movie was a box office failure. The movie was released when Hrithik faced a series of flops one after the other. Though having a fresh script, the movie couldn’t drag audience to theatres. But its songs got well noticed.
