Tanisha Mukherjee Biography 
Tanisha Mukherjee is an Indian actress who concentrates in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil film industries. In 1995 she started her career as a VJ and later became an actress. She belongs to an affluent family with a filmy background.
Tanisha was born on 1st January 1978 in Mumbai in Maharastra. Her father’s name is Shomu Mukherjee and her mother’s name is Tanuja. Her mother is also an actress. She is the younger sister of popular actress Kajol. The popular figures in Bollywood Rani Mukherjee, Sharbani Mukherjee and Mohnish Behl are her cousins.
Her mother’s father Sashadhar Mukherjee was a film director and producer and her grandmother Satirani Devi is also from a family of strong film background. Tanisha acted with Uday Chopra in the film Neal N Nikki and started dating him. But after few years the relationship broke off. She was also rumored with Upen Patel and then she was seen closer to Yash Chopra at the premiere.
She entered film industry in 2003 through the film Sssshhh in Hindi and acted in many films after that including Popcorn Khao! Mast Ho Jao, Tango Charlie, Sarkar, Neal N Nikki, Unnale Unnale, One Two Three, Kantri, Sarkar Raj, Mukti, Be Careful, Tum Milo Toh Sahi, etc.
The film Neal N Nikki was a box office failure. Her Tamil movie Unnale Unnale with Vinay Rai was a successful one. She acted alongside Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Amitabh Bachchan in the comedy film One Two Three in 2008.
