The Gorton Castle is the Gothic structure designed by the architect Sir Swinton Jacob and has the jaali works of Rajasthan. This building was completed in 1904 and this served as the Civil Secretariat of the British government.

The office of the Accountant General is located here at present and this building has 125 small and big rooms. One of its three floors was furnished with rosewood brought from Andaman Islands.
