Vihar Lake is located on the Mithi River in North Mumbai. This lake is used to meet the water needs of South Mumbai. Sanjay Gandhi National Park Authority and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation protect the lake and its catchment areas. As this is situated within the park, the flora and fauna of the park is found in the lake also. There are many crocodiles here and there is a crocodile park here to help the visitors view the different sizes of reptiles.
