Prince of Wales Museum is one of the famous museums in Mumbai and this has been renamed Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya. This was built in Indo Saracenic style of architecture and is located near Gateway of India.

Within this museum is 50,000 exhibits related to ancient Indian history and they are categorized into three sections namely art, archaeology and natural history. This also has the artefacts of Indus Valley Civilization and other relics of ancient India that belongs to the times of Guptas, Chalukyas, Mauryas and Rashtrakutas.
