Mani Bhavan is located in Laburnum Road in Mumbai and served as the center of activities of Gandhi from the year 1917 to 1934.  It was here that the Non-Cooperation, Satyagraha, Swadeshi, Khadi and Khilafat movements are organized and in 1955, this place came under the control of Gandhi Smarak Nidhi.

There is a library here with the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and there is a staircase dotted with the pictures of Gandhi and his life. There is a room in the second floor where Gandhi used to stay when he spent his time here. His spinning wheels and his floor bed could be seen here. It also has a terrace where Mahatma Gandhi was arrested on 4th Jan 1932.
