Juhu Beach is a famous beach in Mumbai and one can reach there from Vile Parle or Santacruz or Andheri. This is a good weekend retreat where one can sit and enjoy at leisure as it is comparatively less crowded. The street food stalls are very famous here and there are many luxury hotels and apartments at its south corner.

You can watch the takeoff from the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport sitting here and this phenomenon has made this beach very famous. There is a place called Gandhi Gram here. The beach turns the playground of children during summer season.

Kamala Nehru Park - 18.4 km - 27 mins Mumbai, suburban

Kamala Nehru Park is located at the top of Malabar Hill and spreads over an area of 4000 square feet. It was named after Kamala Nehru, the wife of Jawaharlal Nehru. It has a structure sculpted like a shoe called Boot Bungalow. From this park you can have the panoramic view of the city, Chowpatty Beach and Marine Drive.

As this park is located at a considerable height, it is cooler and less sultry and proves itself to be a favorite place of children. To reach this place you have to reach Charni road station and from there take a taxi. The Girgaon Chowpatty, Banganga and Jain Temple are some of the attractive places near this park.
