Hanging Gardens are the terraced gardens manicured on the slopes of the Malabar Hills and they are also called Feroze Shah Mehta Gardens. This garden is located in front of the Kamala Nehru Park and was established in 1881. From this garden you can have a view of the Arabian Sea, Marine Drive and Chowpatty Beach.
This garden was renovated in 1921. These terrace gardens were built over three reservoirs that can hold the 30 million gallons of water that is supplied to the town. The hanging garden is famous for its hedges shaped like animals. To reach this garden you have to go to Charni road station west. From there you have to take 15 minutes travel in taxi.
