Sunken Garden is one of the popular structures in Mandi which was once a small lake. The clock tower in a pagoda type structure is the notable feature at this garden. There are many legends about this place gossiped among people of this region. Joginder Sen who ruled over Mandi converted the lake into the existing structure and so this garden has a long standing history over 500 years. The royal ambience is still preserved and the cultural activities of the town are organized here.
