Prashar Lake is popular for its three storied pagoda shaped temple of sage Prashar and so this lake is held in high esteem as a holy lake. The snow capped peaks and the green valley with blue waters of River Beas offer breathtaking sight. This temple was built in 13^th century. The lake has a floating island in it. The depth of the lake is unfathomable.

There are many places of interest around Prashar Lake such as Pandoh, Shikhari Devi, Barot, Chidi and Kamru Nag Lake and Temple.
