Kochadai Village Deity Temple is dedicated to Lord Aiyanar and thousands of people gather here to worship the deities here namely Muthiahswami, Karuppuswami, Agni Veerabadrar, Sonai Muniyandi, Badrakali, Iryalee Amman, Rakkayi Amman, Nagappaswami, Sannasi, Aadipoosari, Pechiamman, Kaluvadikaruppu, Karuppayi Amman, Sangilikaruppu, Chappani, etc.

The idols of the three Tamil kings, Chera, Chola and Pandya and that of Saptha Kannis are present here. Many ceremonies and rituals are conducted here and the deity is considered to guard the city of Madurai.
