Rajarani Temple is the Shiva temple that was built in 11th century AD. It was originally called Indreswara temple. As the carvings of erotic images of women and couples are found here it is also known as love temple. The graceful sculptures add beauty to the temple.

The entire temple stands over an elevated platform. The clusters of turrets add value to it. The temple collapsed in 1903 and later was reestablished. The local people call the dull red and yellow sandstone as Rajarani and as this temple was constructed of them it is known as Rajarani temple. The miniature towers resemble the towers of Khajuraho temples.
