Chandrashekhar Azad Park is also called Alfred Park and is the biggest park in Allahabad. This is also known as Company Bagh. It spreads over an area of more than one square kilometer. During the Indian freedom struggle Chandra Shekhar Azad laid his life here in 1931 and so it was renamed after him. The Chandra Shekhar Azad Memorial, Madan Mohan Malviya Stadium and Allahabad Museum are located here. More than 5000 people visit this park every day.
