Kankaria Lake is the biggest lake in Ahmedabad with a circumference of about 2.3 kilometers and it is one of the places worth visiting. It has a lighted walkway and a central garden and has a toy train running about 5 kilometers and this train attracts many visitors to the lake. Other attractions in the lake are mini zoo, balloon ride, aquarium and gardens. The lake was originally constructed in 1451 and was renovated later. The Nagina Wadi garden is located at its center and there is also a gym within its campus.
