Vipul Goyal is an actor and standup comedian, associated with Hindi entertainment industry. A pioneer of clean comedy and his content is based on topics like Indian dads, Facebook, engineering, Sachin Tendulkar, Indian trains, dating, management, and politics. An ace comedian of present entertainment industry, his comedy videos too are extremely popular over internet, and already received millions of views. He plays the lead role in very popular web-series Humorously Yours, produced by The Viral Fever. His satire works have always received acclaim and fans across the media world. He has dealt with many social problems, politics and day to day life of common man through his satire take.
Vipul was born in Falna in Rajasthan. He holds an engineering degree from the prestigious IIT, Mumbai. He is specialized in electrical engineering. He is married to Nancy Gupta Goyal. He is an ardent fan of Raju Shrivastava, whom he sees as his biggest inspiration. He used to watch Raju’s videos frequently and closely observed him. An IIT-turned-stand-up comedian, Vipul Goyal preferred to follow his heart and that’s his secret behind his success making people laugh. Vipul worked as a retail analyst for six months before he completely switched on to his passion.
He used to do some comedy shows while doing his college studies. Yet his professional career as a standup comedian started in 2008. It was a calculated risk and he was fully confident that he shall go back as he had the IIT brand with him. His early auditions were encouraging though earnings were low. Slowly he built up a world of his own. From Bollywood & cricket to advertisements & current affairs, Vipul loves to crack jokes on a variety of topics. He believes that people are now bored of silly jokes and want their jokes to have some intellect and be stimulating. Off stage he loves to be in the company of his close friends, with whom he enjoys most.
