Sanjay Raut Biography

Sanjay Raut born on November 15, 1961 in Alibag, District Raigad Maharashtra in the family of Shri Rajaram Raut and Shrimati Savita Rajaram Raut. Sanjay Raut had his basic education at Alibag up to class fourth in a local school but later Raut Family moved to Mumbai as his father Shri Shri Raja Ram Raut got a job in Mumbai so he received his further education in Mumbai. He has a B. Com. Degree from Mumbai University, Mumbai.

Sanjay Raut lives in a combined family of three brothers happily is a true family person. Sanjay Raut is a politician from Shiv Sena party and a Member of the Parliament of India representing Maharashtra in the Upper House of the Indian Parliament. 

Sanjay Raut was involved in a controversy he made in April 2015, by saying the voting rights of Muslims should be revoked for some years to ensure the community is not used for vote bank politics. As spokes person of Sanjay had expressed his views in a column Muslims have no future if they are being as vote-banks. Sanjay Raut is married to Varsha Raut having two daughters. He has another controversy associated with him when two young girls were arrested for liking a Facebook post.

He is Journalist, Writer and politician the Executive Editor of Marathi Newspaper "Samana" which is official Newspaper of Shivsena started by  Bal Thackeray. July 2004 Elected to Rajya Sabha Aug. 2004-Sept. 2010 Member, House Committee Aug. 2004 - March 2005. Sanjay has authored many books-

Shunya Saarey and Sacchai in 1989, Rokhthok in 1994, Mumbaitil Mafia in 1996, Nishan Dharoni Marathi in 1997, heckmate in 1998, Ekvachani in 2001, Bihari Mafia in 2004, Sunn Karnare Diwas in 2004 and Yugant, 2013 all in Marathi language. Besides writing these books he has edited one book with the name of ‘Agralekh’
