Ravi Subramanian Biography

Ravi Subramanian is an Indian author who writes in English, best known for thrillers about banking and bankers. His trilogy work - The Incredible Banker, The Bankster and Bankerupt, his most popular among all his works also belong to this group. If God Was a Banker – is yet another popular and bestseller of Ravi. He is also a banker by profession, who studied from the prestigious IIM Bangalore. He is also a businessman, who owns a company. He is a recipient of Indiaplaza Golden Quill Book Award and Crossword Book Award. His daughter Anusha Subramanian is also a young publisher since the age of 12.

 

Ravi Subramanian is a banker, writer and businessman. His experience in banking field helped him to write a series of bank thrillers, which earned him acclaim and popularity as one of the popular English writers at present. He studied at IIM Bangalore, passed out in 1993 and then worked in corporate sector associated with many organizations. He has worked in Citibank, HSBC and ANZ Grindlays, and now owns a non-banking finance company.

 

Apart from writing thriller novels, he also writes columns and stories for magazines and other forms of publishing media. He published his first book, If God Was a Banker in 2007. The book received wide acclaim and also received Indiaplaza Golden Quill Book Award 2008. It encouraged him to write more books. I Bought the Monk’s Ferrari (2008), Devil in Pinstripes (2010), The Incredible Banker (2011), The Bankster (2012), Bankrupt (2013), God is a Gamer (2014), The Bestseller She Wrote (2015) and In the Name of God (2017) are his other published books. His books - The Incredible Banker, The Bankster and Bankrupt received Crossword Book Award for different years.
