Rajesh Chudasama Biography

Rajesh Chudasama is an Indian politician from Gujarat state who currently serves as a parliamentarian. He represents Bharatiya Janata Party, who got elected in 2014 general elections from Junagadh constituency. It is his first term as a parliamentarian. Chorvad of Junagadh is his hometown, where he is currently settled. He has been elected an MLA of Gujarat state during 2012 state assembly elections, before he joined Lower parliament contesting in Lok Sabha elections two years later. During his tenure as MP, he served as Member of Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism& Culture and Member of Consulative Committee on the Ministry of Agriculture, both in 2014.

Rajesh Chudasama hails from Chorvad, Junagadh, Gujarat. He was born on 10 April 1982. His family is into food export business. His uncle Hira Chudasama served as the president of Chorwad municipality for more than 3 decades. He is married to Rekha Rajesh Chudasama since 2008. He was associated with state level politics and served as MLA before he joined National politics representing Bharatiya Janata Party. He got elected as MLA from Mangrol in Junagadh District in the year 2012.

It was his first term as MLA. When he stood for general elections two years later, Chudasama was the youngest contestant from the state in the Lok Sabha elections. It was also for the first time, a ticket was given to a candidate from Koli community for that constituency, and Rajesh transferred it to victory. Rajesh hold a bachelor’s degree in Commerce. He is also known for his efforts as a social worker within the constituency before he turned active in politics. He runs Monghiben Ramabhai Charitable Trust and Shree Laxminarayan Education & Charitable trust.
