Radha Mohan Singh Biography 
Radha Mohan Singh is an Indian politician associated with Bharatiya Janata Party. He currently serves as the Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare in Modi’s cabinet since May 2014. A very influential leader of national politics, it is his fourth term in Lok Sabha, and he has been previously elected to 11th, 13th and 15th Lok Sabha. At present he represents Purvi Champaran constituency in Bihar state. Cow protection and better breeding of Indian cows remain his top agendas as a BJP elected leader. It is his first term as a minister in central cabinet.
Radha Mohan Singh was born on 1 September 1949 in Narha Panapur, East Champaran, Bihar. He was active with RSS since his younger days. He is married to Shanti Devi, and the couple has two children. Radha Mohan Singh completed his graduation in arts from M.S. College, Bihar University. While pursuing his political dreams, he stayed connected to his roots – agriculture and farming. Currently he serves as Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare of the country. He feels that the nation can prosper by enabling farmers and equipping villages. He also works for the welfare of cows, cow protection and better breeding of Indian cows.
He was an active RSS Swayamsevak during his college days, and he embarked upon a political career after joining Jan Sangh and BJP as a member. He was elected to Lok Sabha for the first time in 1996, followed by 1999, 2009 and most recent 2014 elections. As a social worker and activist, he is associated with Vaidyanath Seva Trust, Rickshaw Chalak Kalyan Samiti, Motihari and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayaya Smriti. He earlier served as District President and also State Vice President of Association of Bihar Cricket.
