Mohammad Ali (telangana Politician) Biography

Mohammad Ali is an Indian politician from the south Indian state of Telangana. Currently an MLA of Telangana, he got elected from Station Ghanpur assembly constituency, representing Legislative Council Telangana. He belongs to Telangana Rashtra Samithi and its Minority cell president. He is credited as the 1st Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana and he has also given the port folios, Minister, Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation, and ULC, Stamps & Registration.

 

Mohammad Ali was born in Hyderabad and currently he lives in Azampura. He studied Bachelors in Commerce from Osmania University. After his education he ventured into business. He tried Dairy Farming Business and succeeded well in his business endeavours. It can be said that he is an accidental politician, who joined active politics in his late 50s. He got elected to Legislative Council Andhra Pradesh in 2010, and it was for the first time he got actively involved with regional politics.  Currently belonging to Telangana Rashtra Samithi, he is one of the most prominent faces of Telangana faces right now. He is married and has three children, a son and two daughters.

 

He was serving as president minority cell when President Telangana Rashtra Samithi nominated him as candidate for MLC elections under MLA quota. He won TRS’ at Parkal, and as promised he was given a cabinet position. Mohammad Ali through his hardwork and perseverance has received Muslims’ support. On 2 June 2014, Ali was appointed as the first ever Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, after the formation of new Telangana state. He was also assigned a few portfolios, and he has been handling those departments since then.
