Lilly Singh the famous ‘You Tuber’ also known as IISuperwomanII is currently a Canadian YouTube Celebrity, a stand up-comedian and blogger of Indian descent. She has a wonderful figure of 567 million views and over 5 million subscribers on her channel. She recently did a collaboration collection in which she collaborated with other You Tubers like Ryan Higa. She also had Karan Brar, from Jessie, James Franco and Madhuri Dixit in her most popular videos.
Lilly Singh was born 26 September 1988 motivational speaker, and comedian and a famous You Tuber. She has also taken part in modern dancing and film acting. She started her channel in 2010, her videos have gathered a large audience for her shows. She is particularly known for her satirical takes on everyday life in humorous way.
Lilly Singh was born on 26 September 1988 in Scarborough, Ontario in Canada but her parents Malwinder and Sukhwinder Singh hail from Punjab, India. She has an elder sister Tina Singh. Incidentally Lilly Singh describes herself as a tomboy from her childhood years and lives a life like one. She attended Mary Shadd Public School during her elementary years and high school at Lester B. Pearson Collegiate Institute.
She has a degree in Psychology from York University. Despite living in Canada for most of her life, Singh shares a strong connection with her Punjabi heritage, and says that she likes visiting India and she never miss a chance to visit India.
To keep her ties alive Lilly announced her next tour “A Trip to Unicorn Island" at the 2015 YouTube Fan Fest in Mumbai India on March 2015 while on stage talking to her audience on stage.
Tickets went on sale from first of April and her first few stops were all in India where she originally belongs to. According to her vlogs, the name of the tour was inspired by what she refers to in her videos as a happy place, "Unicorn Island" as unicorns are also her "spirit animal" and describes her moods and trends.
The Indian culture is a major inspiration for Lilly Singh's videos and she loves to highlight the activities people rant about in everyday's life. Some of her popular videos include "How Girls Get Ready", "Types of Kids at School", "Girls on Their Periods" and "My Parents Reacting to. She has been featured on The Comedy Network, HelloGiggles, Metro, OMNI, ZeeTV, and Globe and Mail.
