Hanuman Beniwal Biography

Hanuman Beniwal is an influential politician belonging to Jat community in Rajasthan. He has joined Lok Sabha for the first time after defeating Congress candidate Dr. Jyoti Mirdha of Indian National Congress by a majority of nearly 2 lakh votes. He is the leader of Rashtriya Loktantrik Party of Rajasthan. Formerly a member of Bharatiya Janata Party, he was expelled from the party while he was serving his second term as MLA of Khinvsar. In 2013 he was an Independent candidate at state assembly elections and defeated BJP candidate by 23,020 votes. While serving as an MLA representing Rashtriya Loktantrik Party of Rajasthan for the third consecutive term, he joined parliament for the first time in 2019. His party formed alliance with BJP for general elections and got benefitted as well.

Hanuman Beniwal was born in Nagaur, Rajasthan on 2 March 1972. Ramdev Beniwal and Mohani Devi are his parents. He is married to Kanika Beniwal, and has one son and one daughter. Associated with regional politics of Rajasthan as a member of Bharatiya Janata Party, he joined state assembly for the first time in 2008 representing Khinvsar. In 2013 he was suspended from the party for criticizing his party members, openly in public and for accusing them of their connections of INC. he also accused them of corruptions. He contested state assembly elections as an independent candidate and defeated BJP candidate.

He launched a new political party named Rashtriya Loktantrik Party in 2013 with bottle as its symbol. He emerged as an influential jat and farmers’ leader and got elected to state assembly for the third term representing his new party. Just before general elections of 2019, he formed alliance with BJP and emerged as a winner. He is one of the most promising and influential young leaders from Rajasthan.
