Transportation in Goa by Bus

Buses are the cheapest modes of transportation in Goa and they are ideal for long distance travels. Goa is much bigger than to be considered as one city and so if you want to reach to the other part of it you need to travel long distances. In this case, buses are very handy means of transport. Kadamba Road Transport Corporation runs buses and there are some privately run vehicles also.

Transportation in Goa by Cars

There are cab services from which you can hire the vehicles. Since you need to reach the beach sand, the cars with long wheel base such as Mahindra, Willys and Maruti Gypsy are ideal. You can also see open roof vehicles in Goa. They are also available on rent on per day basis.

Transportation in Goa by Motorbike

Motorbikes are available on rent for those who want to travel in them in Goa and they are rented on per day basis. If you are going to stay longer then you can have a good bargain over them and get them at cheaper rates. Both geared vehicles and un-geared vehicles are available and helmets are also offered along with them if asked for. The foreigners would need an international driving permit to drive motor vehicles in Goa. These motorbikes with yellow number plates could not be taken out of Goa as it is a punishable offense here.
