Bhagvan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Sanguem Taluk of Goa and there are many ancient temples located in this place. This is also called Mollem Game Sanctuary and this spreads over an area of 107 square kilometers. Some of the species of plants found here are Terminalia, Lagerstoemia, Xylia and Dalbergia. Some of the birds and animals seen in this place are Bengal tiger, barking deer, common langur, civet, flying squirrel, Malabar giant squirrel, porcupine, slender loris, spotted deer, wild boar and wild dog and great Indian hornbill, Malabar grey hornbill, Malabar pied hornbill, grey headed myna, grey jungle fowl, ruby throated yellow bulbul, Sri Lanka frogmouth, wagtails, etc.
