Basilica of Bom Jesus is located in Goa and is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This church consists of the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. The name Bom Jesus was used to mean the name of the infant Jesus and this church is modeled on the examples of baroque architecture.

The church was started to be built in 1594 and completed in 1605. The remains of the saint Francis Xavier attract many people from all over the world. Though the interior of the church is simple, the floor is made of marbles inlaid with precious stones and the altars are gilded and look beautiful.
