Zeb Khan Biography

Zeb Khan is a noted actor associated with Hindi television industry, playing character roles. He also played a few lead roles for Urdu shows. He is best known for playing the mythological character Nand, foster father of Krishna in the mythological TV series, Jai Shri Krishna during 2008-2009. It was followed by the negative character portrayal of Vikramaditya in Meera in 2009-10, which earned him accolades. Since early 2000s he has appeared in around a dozen of character roles, with include both positive and negative shades.

 

Zeb Khan was born on May 6, 1980. Rampur, Uttar Pradesh is his hometown. He has three elder sisters. After schooling in Nainital he came to Delhi to pursue his graduation. In those days he stayed with a few friends and a diploma in computers from NIIT Delhi. He pursued modelling in those days, and Mr. Brilliant pageant Delhi. After winning this title, he got modelling offers. He started off with a garlant chain and later accepted many projects.

 

Ek Nazar ki tamanna for ETV Urdu was his first role for television, followed by Tumhara intezar hai for the same channel. He played male lead opposite Nisha Kothari for the show. It was followed by a show for DD Metro, where he played the lead role of a militant for Samarpan. Shows like Sahib Biwi Gulam, Sarrkkar - Risshton Ki Ankahi Kahani, Maahi Ve, Hawayein, Meri Doli Tere Angana etc just followed.

 

Started off with lead roles, he later moved to supporting roles, and earned recognition playing Lord Krishna’s foster father in the mythological series, Jai Shri Krishna. His role got noticed and he earned more meaty roles from small screen. He played younger sahib in Sahib Biwi Gulam on Sahara One.
