Vishal Jethwa Biography

Vishal Jethwa is a popular television actor associated with Hindi shows, playing supporting roles. His role of young Akbar in the historic series, Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap brought him initial success to his career. It was his debut TV show too. Later he was seen in Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman, Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, Peshwa Bajirao, Diya Aur Baati Hum, Thapki Pyar Ki, Ghatotkacha, Chakradhari Ajay Krishna, Crime Patrol etc. He excels in periodic dramas and mythological shows. His role in Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap gave him best Child Male Artist award at Lions Gold Awards in 2015. His role as Krishna in Chakradhari Ajay Krishna earned him Favourite Krishna award at Lions Gold Awards in 2018.

Vishal Jethwa hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra, and he was born on 6 July 1994. Preeti Jethwa and Naresh Devji Jethwa are his parents. He has one brother and one sister. He holds a graduation degree in Commerce. He marked his acting career in 2013 at the age of 19, portraying the younger version of Akbar in Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap. The role gave him a major break to his acting career, awards and recognitions too. It helped him to bag the role of Bali in Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman in 2015.

Initially associated with mythological and historic epics, he got into TV soaps in 2016, appearing in Ek Duje Ke Vaaste and Diya Aur Baati Hum the same year. Yet he continued doing mythological and historic series through the shows - Chakradhari Ajay Krishna, Peshwa Bajirao etc. Vishal has never thought of joining acting stream, and he loves dancing most. He got the role of Maharana Pratap after attending an acting course for two years.
