Tanvi Ravindran is a popular television actress of Malayalam TV industry, best known for her villain roles in Parasparam and Ratri Mazha. She worked as a ground staff in Thiruvananthapuram International airport for some time before she left her job to join entertainment industry. Acting is her true passion, and that’s why she left her good-salaried job to pursue her dreams. Now she is one of the most sought Malayalam TV actresses to play negative roles on screen, and audience really loves her wicked characters on screen. Now the actress eyes on big screen debut and loves to take challenging roles, rather than stereotype heroines with good heart and soul.
Her full name is Tanvi S. Ravindran. She is a native of Kozhikode, where she was brought up. She has two siblings. Raveendran and Savithri Raveendran are her parents. Her father works in gulf. She schooled from G. H. S. S Kundamkuzhy, Bedadka, Kozhikode. She completed her graduation from Calicut Institutions and later attended Airport Training and worked as a ground staff in Trivandrum International airport for few years.
She started off with modelling, before she got her first break to television. She also got a small role in an unreleased Malayalam film. She was first seen in the TV show, Moonnumani. Her negative role in Ratri Mazha was the turning point of her acting career, and there was no turning back after that. Her villain roles are so realistic that she was once attacked in public by a grandma, as she humiliated grandma’s favourite hero on screen. She takes this incident as a compliment to her acting career, and loves to take similar kind of villain roles again.
