Swati Rajput Biography

Swati Rajput is an Indian actress who works in Bollywood and Hindi television shows. She made her small screen debut in Tum Dena Sath Mera on Life OK in 2011. She was most recently seen in the series, Prithvi Vallabh - Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi. As a Bollywood actress, Vodka Diaries in 2018 is her recent release, where she played the supporting role of Sera. She was first seen in 2010 Telugu movie - Thakita Thakita, and later in Konkani movie, Mortoo too. She played female lead in Doordarshan series, Amrita in 2013. Swati is also a model by profession.

Swati Rajput hails from the capital city, Delhi. Her younger days were spent in her hometown itself. Since a child, Swati showed an inclination towards acting. She was also interested in modelling since then. She believes Sridevi and Smita Patil to be her great inspirations. She started her career with ads and Telugu films. She appeared in TV ads of Coca Cola, Tide, Dettol, Goldplus, State bank of India, SpiceJet, Dulux paints, Reliance digital store, Britannia 50-50 and many more. She wants to strike a perfect balance between commercial and parallel cinema, and wants to do strong characters on screen.

As a film actress, she was first seen in Telugu-Tamil bilingual, Thakita Thakita in 2010 in a brief role. The following year, she bagged her first Hindi TV series - Tum Dena Sath Mera, where she played the role of Samy. She continued with both films and TV serials belonging to different languages including Konkani. Prithvi Vallabh - Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi, Amrita and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir are among her popular TV roles.
