Sukhbir Singh Biography 
Sukhbir Singh, most commonly known as Sukhbir is often referred to as the "Prince of Bhangra". He is born in Jalandhar, Punjab and has given numerous Punjabi pop numbers to music lovers all over India. He has done pure Punjabi songs as well as fusion songs where he used western instruments and fusion music. His bhangra songs are a mixture of rap, techno and reggae and are widely popular. He uses original Bhangra instruments like the dhol and dholak to enhance the beauty of songs, giving them a Punjabi touch.
Sukbhir Singh was born on 11th September, 1969 in Jalandhar, Punjab. But his family moved to Nairobi, Kenya and he was raised there. He spent 20 years in Nairobi and later moved to Dubai, from where he released his first album. His first album was New Stylee and it was recorded in Dubai in 1996. This album contains many elements of western music and was a big success too. This album was nominated in many musical awards including Channel V Awards in three categories. Those categories are Best Debut Album, Best Male Vocalist and Best Music Video. The chartbuster song was ‘Punjabi munde’.
After that he has released a series of successful albums like Dil Kare, Gal Ban Gayi and Hai energy. Dil hare was his fourth album and its title track was a smash hit. This album also included the song 'Girls Girls Girls' which featured Miss Worlds and Bollywood actresses like Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra. It also included former Miss India, Celina Jaitley. Oi Triesto released in the year 1995 he experimented by Spanish and Portuguese rhythms along with his Punjabi Bhangra elements.
He was the playback singer of Dil laga song of Hrithik Roshan’s successful movie – Dhoom 2. His most popular works include - Dil Kare, Nachle Mere Yaar, Prince of Bhangra Volume 1, Nirgun Raakh Liya, Gal Ban Gayi, Aise Na Mujhe Tum Dekho, Hai energy, Pata Nahi Rabb Kehdyen Rangan Ch Raazi, Sukhbir - Greatest Hits, Tere naal nachna and Ni Hogaya Re Pyar Soniye. Now he resides at Dubai along with his wife Dimpy.
