Sonia Balani is a popular actress associated with Hindi soaps. She also played a supporting role in 2018 Bollywood romantic sequel, Tum Bin 2, where she appeared as Gurpreet. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Suvreen Guggal - Topper of the year, Detective Didi and Laal Ishq are some of her most popular roles for Hindi television. Suvreen Guggal – Topper of The Year in 2012-2013 aired on Channel V India gave her a major break to small screen. She was most recently seen in an episodic role of Laal Ishq in 2018, where she played the role of Simran. She received STAR Parivaar Award for Favourite Naya Sadasya (Female).

Sonia Balani is an actor and model. She was born on 21st January 1991 in Agra, UP. She was brought up in her hometown where she completed her schooling and college studies. Since school days she was involved with cultural activities and stage programs. Dancing is her favourite hobby. Slowly she got interested to TV shows and loved to work in television industry. So she moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in this field.

She started her career as a model working in commercials. She appeared in a number of TV ads because of her cute and innocent face, and it also helped her to bag a few roles from television. Tu Mera Hero aired on Star Plus is one among her best roles till now. For this role she was nominated for the STAR Parivaar Award for Favourite Jodi, but couldn’t get the award. Later she played the female lead in ZEE TV’s Detective Didi. Currently she is single and not dating anyone.
