Shivya Pathania Biography

Shivya Pathania is an Indian model and television actress, who played lead role of Arzoo Nausheen Khan in the serial Humsafars aired on Sony TV. She is a very successful model who has won several beauty pageants. Shivya was crowned Miss Shimla 2013. In the International Summer Festival took place at Shimla, she won the subtitles - Miss Oye and Miss Beautiful Smile. Since then she has been active in modelling before she made her television debut in 2014 at the age of 23. She was once mistaken for actress Sonakshi Sinha for a promotional event.

Shivya hails from Himachal Pradesh. She was born in the year 1991. She is inspired a lot by the Bollywood ‘Queen’ Kangana Ranaut, not only because she is from Himachal Pradesh, but for her professional approach, improvements and hard work over the years to become a star. She likes Vidya Balan also. After winning a few beauty contests, she gained success as a television actress too. She was paired with popular actor Harshad Chopra for her debut series – Humsafars. She played the role of an aspiring fashion designer in the popular soap. While doing promos for the serial, she was mistaken to be Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, which Shivya takes as a compliment. The incident happened in Lucknow.

Crowned as Miss Shimla 2013, she was given Miss Oye title by a Radio Jockey Hunt in association with Oye 104.8 FM. The actress dreams to do a mythological role in future as it is challenging. Her most favourite role is Goddess Parvati. Her parents too love mythological series a lot. So she wants herself to be presented in a mythological character before her parents.
