Shaheer Sheikh Biography

Shaheer Sheikh is a successful television actor known for the roles in Kya Mast Hai Life,  Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal and Mahabharat. He played leading roles as well as supporting roles. He currently plays the role of Arjuna in Hindu epic Mahabharata since 2013, telecasted on Star Plus. He played lead role in Kya Mast Hai Life, which gave him viewer’s appreciation as well as numerous awards. He won Best actor, Best Jodi, and Best Buddies (Male) awards at Disney India Survey for Most Favourite 2010 for his single role in Kya mast hai life. The same tele-series also earned him Our Choice Awards 2010 award in two categories – Best actor and Best buddies. He also won Best Actor in a Leading Role at Best on Disney 2011 for the same role.

 
He was born in Jammu and Kashmir on 26 March 1984. He completed his schooling from Hari Singh Higher Secondary School, Jammu. Later he studied at the New Law College, and Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune and holds an LLB degree. He also owns an event management company. Sheikh started his career as a photographer and model. But later he joined television with the lead role in Kya Mast Hai Life which placed his as an established actor of small screen. Then he fully concentrated on television and won many awards as well.

 
Later he appeared in Jhansi Ki Rani as Nana Sahib on Zee TV, followed by Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal and Teri Meri Love Stories on Star Plus. Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal has also given him numerous television awards in the year 2011 including Great! face of the year at BIG Television Awards and Best new couple with Soumya Seth at New Talent Awards.
